"We are not done talking about this!" Goldeneyed exclaimed, shouting at CrazySugarFreakBoy! as the Wired Wonder walked away from him.

Dreamcatcher Foxglove turned to face his teammate. "He's our friend, Bry. We don't hunt down our friends. At least, I don't. I mean, I don't know about you, but ..."

Bry Katz pinched the bridge of his nose and squeezed his eyes shut for a moment. "He broke the law. It's our job to uphold the law. In case you haven't noticed, that's one the only reasons that we've ever been allowed to operate out in the open, with the approval of the government. So if Dan Drury says he needs to be brought in, then we have to bring him in. You're acting like the decision on this one is even up to us!"

"It is if we decide that what's the law ain't what's right!" CrazySugarFreakBoy! protested wildly. "If I just wanted to enforce some set of rules on everybody, I would have signed on to become a cop. I'm here to do what I think is right, not what I think is legal. And if you think it's right that we go and arrest the Dark Knight for trying to do what he thought was right ... well, then, no offense, but you're wrong, and so is Dan."

"So you're siding with Nats, now?" Goldeneyned challenged coldly.

"FUCK sides, man!" Dreamcatcher Foxglove shot back. "And you know what? FUCK you and Bill, too. I don't know what the hell is going on between the two of you, and you know, I don't really give a goddamn, either. You're both acting retarded. I think I've gone on record with the stuff you've done that I've disagreed with - especially where De Brown Streak is concerned - but since you've taken over as acting leader, you're also made some moves that I think were probably long overdue, and I've got no problem giving you credit for that. Same thing goes for Bill. Look, it ain't wrong that you two don't see eye to eye on everything, or even that you don't get along a lot of the time. But it sure as all hell IS wrong when neither of you can manage to table that shit, especially now we've got kids in the house."

He paused for moment, as Bry Katz silently absorbed what had been said, before launching into a final, brief outburst. "And you know what REALLY pisses me off? It's the fact that I shouldn't have to tell you this, because I should never be the most mature person here!" With that, a clearly exasperated Wired Wonder stormed out of the room.
